Tyco Suzuki rider Conor Cummins finished yesterday’s Macau Grand Prix in sixth place.

The 26-year-old Manxman rode a steady pace on his GSX-R1000 throughout the 10-lap encounter around the Guia Circuit, with the victory going to Michael Rutter with Martin Jessopp second and Simon Andrews third.

Said Cummins: “It was a tough week with stoppages and delays and obviously the loss of Luis Carreira in qualifying was a blow for everyone. I rode my own race and the big Suzuki never missed a beat. I’m a little disappointed with the result but happy enough with the finish and can now start preparing for next season.”
